"Faith"
Sitting alone on a bench
I’m in need of a friend
To tell me my troubles won’t be the end of me
Someone to have a little faith in me
The moon went down into the clouds
Like my head into my pillow
I cry a few words out loud
But no one answers back
You move me as the power is brought over my head
I’d rather have my dignity than to fall dead
I don’t need these things that I deal with
But I’m doing nothing to change
So I have no right to complain
You are the one who is my ally
I can trust in You, You built the skies
The sun which glows every night
Because it was You who gave the world light
Help me from the gallows
Help me lead a life that forever remains
On the tip of someone’s tongue
On every night, morning and day
Thank You for having faith
