"Gripin'"
Well, a couple things fell through
And a couple then came anew
I guess I just have to get used to
This always happening in my life (and)
Things that get me excited are few
And it is honestly a shame when they do
I'm unhappy to everyone that views
The only time they see me is when I'm gripin'
Something I was looking towards
Can't turn back, keep lookin' forward
Good things should come now since the bad just did
Just like things happened when I was a kid
Everything is aggravating me right now
I just wonder why everything has to snow down
Lately it's been all about the violent showdown
Tomorrow is just another day, thanks to Ms. Brown
So the next time I get to see you all
I can't exclaim on how well I acted
Got up in a big fuss and forgot to smile
Guess I was caught up being distracted
I'm tired of all this annoyance
Can't swim well, yea I ain't so buoyant
Gettin' stepped on like I do nothing all day
Adopting this new thing called dignity
The days go by while I'm trying my best
To pass all of your infrequent tests
Banging and bowing my head to music
You wouldn't absorb or understand
Even if you bathed in it
No more of this faked happiness
So screw your nails tight
Unplug the lamp, and fight
