"Growth"
Grown so old, I’ve been told
Many comments unfold
When the changes made are visible
My character development has made me bold
I now have a hold on my control
And since this growth, days have been more livable
Not so boring, not as uninteresting
Change is definitely a blessing
Look just like my older brother
I’m just another Darrel, I guess
Though, I must confess I don’t see it
Let alone, I must believe it since everyone tells me
The same thing every day
No! I’m not sick of it in any way
Graduating in this following year
Can’t believe the time’s almost near
Freeze the moments golden
I gotta let go and stop holding
Onto yesterday when we were all on our way
Towards the craziness of the first grade
Now the twelfth year is here
And I’m proud now ‘cause I have a reason to cheer
