"In His Place"
I want us to all see Our Lord’s face
I want us all to go and live where He stays
There’s only one way and Salvation is here
He’s screaming in love, can’t you hear?
I want us to all believe in His name
I want us all to seek His grace
Simple admittance of our shame
Reserves our spot in His place
He’s accepted that we’re human
But He wants us to not sin
As much as we can stand
On Earth, yes, there is temptation
He knows our hearts
He knows how we’ve lied
He wants to be apart
Of our imperfect lives
How gracious can One be?
Though, He has much to spare
He says “Eternity,”
So take some time to care
