Never paid attention all too much
To the music in the background
But this piece is hard to touch
Can’t really break down the sound
When I heard it, I wanted it
To be written by myself
So I wrote it again but wrong
And came up with a different song
The instrumentation moves me along
Everyone’s tired so they say, “so long”
Too concentrated in on the music
Like gazing at a fire in the middle of nowhere
Wondering who fused it
So I’m in a trance and I refuse to admit it
Wishing I could write such a song
Can’t believe I wasn’t listening when it first came on
It’s grown on me, you could say
Just like the clouds cover the sun in the gray
And below you know what’s happening, though
You don’t say anything at all
But you write it down
Because it may never come again
In separation, inspiration
