12:30, done with my routine
About to go and dream
But before this, I treat
Myself with something sweet
Lonely and disturbed
On a Saturday night
I think I deserve
Something good at midnight
It’s all about the back you pack
Before you go to school to fool
Yourself to get back on track
One thing I do enjoy though
Is the midnight snack
Bad attitude this late
Snickering at the bait
Get me out of my ‘dreamland’
Offer some ice cream and
…Well, then we got a deal
Yea, I should get out more
But this way I’m taking
A lot better because I can ignore
The people who are all for the breaking
…Of my feelings, let’s spoon this meal
It happens every day
I don’t have a problem with this
Life, it’s just my way
And I like the way I live
