Back in my mind
Thoughts from old times
Overcame my struggles
I am no longer blind
To see what’s in front of me
Thankful for every chance I get
To praise Your name with no regret
I am accepted and I can have faith
And still be considered cool to this day
I’m in Your thoughts more than You are in mine
Sad to proclaim but proof’s in Psalm one-thirty-nine
I love You and I don’t have to hide
You’ll always be with me no matter the crime
But I’ll try to stay as focused by day
On You and only You on through the night
You loved me when I didn’t believe
You love me now, I’m relieved
All the stress has gone away
To You I will come if ever there is a day
That I start to doubt Your way
To You and only You I will pray
