"The Hill"
One may climb, one may fall
Nobody gets over the hill at all
Because it’s not about getting over it
It’s about marking the territory you restarted
Live, die, love, hate, give, take
Lie, sigh, cry, try not to break
In two parts while on the journey
Half a person can’t produce a full churning
Life out of the nothingness felt
Emulating peers and anybody else
Who, how, what, when, where, why?
Are you gonna do what you aspire?
If not yourself, there’s just no fire
There’s no guardrail, no traction
Somehow I don’t see you lastin’
Now that you realize what I’ve said
I see the prophecy – you tired or dead
Laying on the ground
Waiting to be found, looking ahead
Get a straw, suck it up.
Pick and draw, lucky duck.
Try for one chance alone
(or) One more time when grown
Don’t relinquish
That simple wish
To be on that hill
Don’t make a sound
Climb up that mound
(It’s) your dream to fulfill
You can do anything
With the power at your will
