I don’t want to put up with your jokes
I did get my butt out of the smokes
I can only ask for you to understand
It’s just a question, not a demand
You’d rather just have simple ideas
I’m more into beliefs and criteria
I want to stand for something real
I’m in love with the things I feel
You’re too into routine and habit
That’s one more that I’m not gonna have (and)
Just because I say what I think
Doesn’t mean that I am supreme
As long as you’re the same
And you haven’t changed
I don’t think I can be
With somebody who tempts me
…to go off course
…to have no remorse
…to be wickedly extreme
…to not care if I’m mean
…to be spiritually dry
…to not question why
Because questions turn to answers
And I doubt you’d bring me closer
To understand, so without
Being demanding – please get out
