"Thief Of The Night"

You’ve stolen my armor
I’m the same without it
It’s only for the look
I know how to deal about it

Clouds, sunshine, pouring rain
Thundering and lightning
It’s never the same night again
Don’t try to take it from me

I’ve the world in my grasp
Depends on how it’s used
If I were homeless and sat
In the heat on a day like this, I’d be amused

Needless to cry
Necessarily contrite
Not my choice to decide
But if you come from the brush
To push the world to the side
I wouldn’t have it to play
Pinching reality with tweezers on a sunny day
Under a magnifying glass
And it’s half passed the Earth
And it’s worth is climbing to last

Don’t tell me the rapture
Isn’t coming tonight

Don’t steal my night away
Thief of the night
Take away all the words to say
To mumble, to crumble
Thief of the night
