"This Kind Of Fall"

I’d give up if it meant something to you
For you to know that I’ve let go of all that got us through
May change or rearrange your mind
Whatever happens, I’ll be fine with it

You may say that
A smile’s all I gave
It developed into love soon
What’s done is done
And is of no further use for you
I only gave a smile
And a smile in return, I received
I found love or so I believed (or so I was deceived)
Not like it hurt at all
I’m used to this kind of fall

Jumping from land to sky with you
Landing with your hand in mine, we grew
I knew it would be you, I’d pursue
Full force, I leapt into the broth and stew
It’s hard to run out an internal residue
Because suddenly love is a taboo
Living on the corner of dependent avenue

Sounds, if you’re quiet, make noise
Smells, if you’re calm, may be enjoyed
But too much can be deadly
Infections run wild in your body
And you’re confused, said we’d
Always comfort each other if sick or not ready
To commit to the conflict

And I’m running wild in your body.
You claim sickness, you have no witness.
Description failures.
