Instead of listening to You

The fluff I put into my mind
Praying over and over one line
Shine through me, live in me
Cry proving it’s not my emotions
You deserve these tears and more
I pray what You’d have me pray for
When I don’t know
I hope for You to show
Me in Your own little way
I need to know this today
Don’t need to be a scholar
To know You’re the caller
On the other end of the line
Many occasions I’ve hung up
