"Whisked Away"

The best things aren’t guaranteed
To once become property
So get your hands off of my inheritance
But do you really think
It’ll suit you better than I
Free and novelty items are more my style

Never will you be happy
If you have to force
It to begin happening
Can you hear the silence?
Can you hear admittance?

Be sad and wallow in your
Self pity the whole city shall feel
Sympathy and empathy towards the
One person that none really cared for
But nobody had the nerve to ignore
Them and fend off their royalties

Never will you be happy
If you have to force
It to begin happening
Can you smell the notion?
Can you smell the motion?

Take your life and take it back
To the grave, you save us time
Being selfish is admired in your head
Believe yourself and surely you jest
That you’re blaming this whole thing
On the people that gave you life to begin with

Never will you be happy
If you have to force
It to begin happening
Can you feel the respect?
You might not
Since you’ve been whisked away
