"Witness"
I’ll be Your witness
To just tell what I know
I’ll be Your witness
And I pray that I’ll go
And speak of Your forgiveness
And have the control
To make it personal
Lord, I need Your help
Only Yours, not anyone else’s
I could care less what they think
This is my, this is my belief
Jesus, I know You walked on this land before
How can it be so hard to say Your name, Lord?
Devoted, I truly am to You and Your word
Why can’t I tell of what I’ve learned?
Am I afraid to confess
I want to be Your witness
Am I afraid I will be a failure
“It’s okay, I’ll wait ‘til later”
But I need to say it now
How can I break common ground?
Lord, be with me on my pursuits
Get me ready to witness for You
Thank you God for all of my days
You, forever, deserve this praise
