• The Prince Hall Grand Court, Ladies of the Circle of Perfection, auxiliary to the Prince Hall Grand Council Royal & Select Masters, Prince Hall Affiliation, is the newest addition to the Prince Hall family in the jurisdiction of Virginia. We were organized on August 31, 2002, in Richmond, Virginia.
  In May 2001, under the leadership of Past Grand Royal Perfect Matron Mary E. Ruff and Past Grand Royal Chief Advisor Leonard Long of Bernal V. Ford Grand Court, Jurisdiction of New Jersey, several interested ladies traveled to Richmond, Virginia, to be initiated into the Ladies of the Circle of Perfection. As a result of the large membership, on June 1, 2002, at the Annual Session of the Grand Council, Royal & Select Masters of Virginia, Right Grand Thrice Illustrious Master Curtis Vaughan, Jr. chartered four (4) subordinate Courts, in various areas of Virginia. The subordinate Courts under this Grand Court are: Hannah Court No. 1 (Norfolk); Lydia Court No. 2 (Richmond); Leah Court No. 3 (Hampton); and Zibiah Court No. 4 (Richmond).
  Having the constitutional number of subordinate Courts, we were now able to form a Grand Court. Shortly thereafter, a petition was submitted to the Prince Hall Grand Council Royal & Select Masters of Virginia requesting approval to form a Grand Court. Under the administration of the Most Worshipful Grand Master George Clemons and Right Grand Thrice Illustrious Master Samuel Avery, Jr., permission was granted. Thus, on August 31, 2002, the Grand Court of the Ladies of the Circle of Perfection, Jurisdiction of Virginia, Prince Hall Affiliation was duly organized. On November 9, 2002, we gathered together to witness the installation of our first Grand Officers.

  Royal Grand Secretary - Marguerite Jordan

  Trustee 1 - Tulia M. Cuffee

  Trustee 2 - PRPM Mildred C. West

  Trustee 3 - Ruby J. Wilson
