Persephone gathered all of Athene’s things while Mystic helped Epiphany pack all of her things. Athene was lying in her crib while Persephone gathered all of her things and piled them out in the hall. Athene was an adorable 8-month-old with golden hair, blue eyes, and an endearing smile. She seemed to instantly trust Persephone. She just lied contentedly in her crib babbling in her baby language. Persephone packed quickly and pretty soon she was driving Mystic, Sunshine, Epiphany, and Athene back to the dorm she shared with Mystic.

The phone rang and Persephone answered. “Hello?” “Is this the Johanssan residence?” A male voice asked. Persephone hesitated for a second. “Uh, yes. Please may I ask who’s calling?” “Dr. Roberts of Hartford Memorial Hospital. I have news about a Minerva Johanssan. May I speak to whomever is in charge.” The doctor asked. “That would be me, Persephone. Is Minerva ok?” “She’ll be fine. She had to have many stitches but other than that, there were no other major injuries to be attended to.” “Can we, the family, see her?” “I don’t see why not.” “Great! Thanks!” Persephone hung up the phone and turned to Sunshine. “Get your jacket, we’re taking a little trip.” “Where?” Sunshine inquired. It was obvious she had been eavesdropping the phone call. “To see your mom.” “YEA!” Sunshine squealed as she rushed to get her jacket. Persephone went to get Epiphany and Athene ready.
