HISTORY:   In June 2003 Mark & Jonathan partnered together to form N.Y.C.R.P. inc. A short time later A.P.L.E.A. was formed to provide a network and training division for the company of N.Y.C.R.P. Inc (New York Capital Recovery & Protection). Since there are so many areas which one can become involved in, we thought it necessary to provide our agents and friends with a website outlining the various aspects of our organization.

**APLEA is not an employment agency though we offer referrals to companies in other areas of Private Law Enforcement.

What is APLEA?: The American Private Law Enforcement Association was established by N.Y.C.R.P. Inc. (New York Capital Recovery & Protection) to promote education in areas of private law enforcement and networking among private citizens. We offer a three year certification in APLEA training programs and network with professionals in the field of private law enforcement. We believe that all Americans should be responsible for self and family protections, within their constitutional rights, as their civic & God given duty.

What is Private Law Enforcement?  We define Private Law Enforcement in two categories:

1. Citizen or Volunteer : Neighborhood Watch, Law Abiding Citizen, Patriot, Retired Law Enforcement or Military, APLEA Agent, etc.

 2. Professional or Career: Private Investigator, Security Guard, Martial Artist, Bail Enforcement Agent, Executive Protection

We at APLEA realize that our job in Private Law Enforcement relies heavily on those in Public Law Enforcement (i.e.. Police, State & Federal Security, Sheriffs, State Troopers, US Marshals, FBI, CIA Civil Servants, Fire Dept and other emergency response & law enforcement personnel ). Our job is to work within our rights as a law abiding citizens and then report to the proper authorities.

Who is an APLEA Member?: An APLEA Member is any private citizen who is concerned with the State of the Union in America and is committed to building a network of citizens and professionals, to fill in the gaps in inner security through building relationships with others in various fields. One requirement is that an individual become an active member in one of our programs.

Faith Based : We are a faith based organization though we allow any individual regardless of faith to become a part of our agent programs. We only require specific beliefs as they pertain to our spiritual life programs.  We believe in the freedom of religion and are not a sectarian organization. All our welcome to attend any seminar or spiritual life training regardless of religious background.

3 yr APLEA AGENT Program: This program has been developed to build branches of APLEA in various parts of the US if you’re interested in this program. You must be enrolled & active in two of our core programs to be eligible and be at least 18 years old upon graduation.

Core Programs: Because A.P.L.E.A. is a network of professionals and individuals with a concern for Law Enforcement related issues, there can be one or several area’s in which one becomes an APLEA AGENT
