Alright so it has been too hot to get up here and do this But they start the 3-day race tomorrow for the Labor Day Weekend.
Mike was fast qualifier. He qualified at 15.22. During the 'Trophy Dash' He placed a third. Mike Yaw really wanted the trophy and was going to crash us out. It wasn't worth the trophy to loose the right to race the rest of the night, since this was a double points night. Mike Doss was driving Stephanie's car and place as 2nd fast qualifier. He was fourth in the trophy dash and again it was due to Mike Yaw. He was willing to crash anyone that got in his way. During the first heat race. The one and only time that Mike has ever left the track with me. Mike Yaw was going to pass us and pulled into us and popped the tire. This caused us to go over the embankment. The tire had a big hole in it. This was during the 9th lap and so there was no time to change the tire and get back on the track. Mike Yaw was supposed to be disqualified for that but in the end he got 7th place and we ended up with 8th. Ozzie, the head official, called a pit meeting and gave all the drivers a warning. We talked to Mike Yaw and told him that we weren't going to be able to pass him in points so there was no since in him trying to put us out of the race. Mike Doss placed 6th in this. But... Clark, the 'badboy' Miller, won the heat race. This is good for the 'Bad Boys Racing'. During the Main Event, things went much smoother. Mike Yaw didn't try to crash us out and we came from 16th to a solid 4th place finish. Mike Doss came from 15th to a 2nd place finish. He is a very experienced driver. He is the mechanic and also mechanics on a 'Racing West' car. He had a modified but due to the high cost of having his motor refreshed he did not race this year. Mike Doss is also a two time track champion for this track.
