Mike was really nervous for this race. It was the last points race for the season. His goal for this race was to at least maintain his position in points. This he did. He finished the season in 4th overall. And he is the new 'rookie of the year'. Mike finished 6th in the heat race and 6th in the Main Event. He was 2nd fast qualifier for the night with a 3.338. Mike Doss was driving Stephanie's car and finished third after hitting the tires in turn 3. He was fast qualifier for the night with a 3.226. He is a past two time track champion and is Mike's mechanic. He is also a mechanic for the Dave Reed Racing, on the southwest tour cars.
