KNOWN AS "PROJECT DISCLOSURE" THE GROUP MET WITH CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS IN WASHINGTON DC ON MAY 7, 2001 IN HOPES OF DRUMMING UP SUPPORT FOR THE FULL AND COMPLETE RELEASE OF ANY OR ALL DOCUMENTATION CONCERNING UFOS, ALIENS AND THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL HYPOTHESIS.

STAFF AT THE UFO RESOURCE CENTER in Seattle, Washington are watching public reaction closely, for any visible signs of change in US Government sentiment about the UFO paradigm. Christopher Montgomery is the Global Director of UFORCE International, a grass roots organization that has been studying the UFO phenomenon on a worldwide scale since 1998.
UFO Researchers claim that they have found conclusive proof that UFOs are real. During the 6:30 pm broadcast of the local news, KIRO-TV revealed that members of the Disclosure Project had met today in Washington DC to present documentation in the form of eyewitness testimony made by dozens of former government officials who have come forward to testify in support of UFOs. Many of those individuals had formerly held positions in the US Air Force and the FAA, Steve Rayble said. They joined the list of other US Government employees that have come forward to testify in support of the UFO phenomenon. The members of THE DISCLOSURE PROJECT have produced numerous documents made by retired government employees, who attest to the validity of the UFO evidence. The documents suggest that UFOs are in fact a real, known phenomenon. Dr. Steven Greer heads the Disclosure project. His presentation was covered briefly by KIRO TV in Seattle Washington today Wednesday the 9th day of May 2001. In addition to their brief coverage of this historic event in UFOLOGY, the Seattle television station aired a brief film clip of Dr. Greer speaking at the Washington DC conference. (Reference X).
KIRO TV has a reputation to ridicule any subject that is of a controversial nature. I found that the newscasters were remarkably serious when they announced this news story.
Judging from the overall media blackout, this subject will probably fade away like all of the other projects that have come and gone before it. If the US Government wanted this subject to become an open forum for discussion, I believe that they would have done just that a long time ago. The fact is that they claim that they have already released everything that there is to know about UFOs. How can they come forward with full disclosure, when they already have done that?
The Air Force and FAA have provisions for dealing with extraterrestrial aircraft, and instruct their personnel on exactly what to do when and if they encounter such an event. There are protocols that specifically state exactly what you are to do and how one is to handle such an event.
LETS FACE IT, FOLKKS...there are too many credible, reliable witnesses who are willing to come forward and stand up to say that they believe and that they know that the UFOs and their alien counterparts are real.
Now, some may argue that this may be due to conditional influences in our society, that romanticize the idea of alien contact...and the subliminal mind creates that reality as a result of that conditioning. That explanation would be acceptable, if it were not for the fact that a very credible psychoanalyst by the name of Carl Jung states that UFOs are not only a product of the mind as in mental aberration, but also a physical object, which leaves physical traces, like radar echoes...landing marks...burns, changes in soil, etc. He could not dismiss the UFO phenomenon merely on the grounds that it was a mental disorder...these things are leaving physical traces behind. Never mind that they are caught on film, and radar.
This establishes the phenomenon as a factual occurrence that is verifiable scientifically; regardless of what role it plays in our collective subconscious. If you cannot take the eyewitness testimony for face value, then at least accept that UFOs do exist because they can be proven by conventional science using accepted practices and standards in use today.
FACT: The majority of the population now accepts that the UFO phenomenon is real. A blind survey was conducted during my appearance on KATU-TV in Portland, Oregon. We asked the viewing audience if they believed that UFOs were real or not real. A whopping 68% said that they believed that they were real, an overwhelming majority!
This presents two possible scenarios.
The first case scenario would be that the government really, truly believes that there is nothing to the UFO phenomenon, and they closed the book on the matter once and for all, when the Air Force concluded its investigations culminating in the infamous Condon Report. Edward U. Condon and the University of Colorado published the results of that study in THE SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION OF UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS. There were too many red herrings in their report to adequately justify their conclusions...besides that, the CIA and other intelligence agencies continue to investigate the matter. That is a fact, and you can learn that from reading the reports on their web site.
The second case scenario would be that the US Government considers the subject of UFOs too secret to discuss publicly for whatever reason. One possible explanation would be that they do not want to air their dirty laundry in public, choosing the silent treatment instead. The later would be to their benefit, especially if full disclosure about the reality of the phenomenon would cause them shame. This would be especially true if full disclosure would result in a loss of credibility and trust, which I believe it would.
If they (the government et al) really does know and believe that these things are real, then whose to say that full disclosure as describe by Greer and associates, would be in the public's best interest? One would have to admit that there are citizens of this country that would have a difficult time handling full disclosure, and would rather not meet any extraterrestrials from the White House steps, let alone face to face.
Is it wise and prudent, to present evidence that supports something as fantastic as extraterrestrials, when the very foundation of our reality would be shaken? Should something as profound as this be disclosed? Wouldn't this test the very bedrock of our belief system, and strike fear in the hearts of many who would call them natural citizen of this planet?
What the DISCLOSURE PROJECT is proposing is to establish open and full contact with a race of beings that we aren't yet neither willing to accept nor are we yet ready to admit exist. Besides being a leap of faith, would it be wise to challenge a system, whose very purpose, mission and goal is to protect its citizens above all else, even to the point of denying truth when it is in the best interest of the largest percentage of our planet?
I have talked with dozens of people who claim contact with these entities WHOEVER THEY ARE and they report that they were physically and emotionally abused by them. There is consensus amongst many in my camp, that not all of those alleged “extraterrestrials” are benevolent…some of them are down right evil in the purest sense of the word, deriving pleasure from watching people in pain. Regardless of the fact that this pain may be self-generated, and in fact an aberration of the contact experience, that doesn’t make it any easier to accept that contact with some of those UFO occupants has been extremely dangerous. Just ask the last Air Force pilot that was shot down when their plane got too close. No, my friends…open and full contact with these “alien” beings may not be in the best interest of the planet, until we can determine once and for all who are the good and who are the bad amongst them.
Full-blown contact would strike at the heart our belief systems. Worst case scenario, would be that this type of event would spell the beginning of the end, resulting in the eventual collapse of our civilization as we know it. Truth is the bedrock of all relationships. Would divulging the truth reveal the big lie, causing a rift in our society so tremendous, that it would lead to the eventual collapse of our civilization, because of years of pent-up mistrust for our governing leaders, would be the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back?
As we scrambled to adjust to the new cultural and political dynamics that this type of proposed encounter would present, when that unreality becomes reality...and the abnormal becomes the norm. When we are ready to accept that unidentified flying objects are real and that they are piloted by beings that are "alien" to our world, then and only then are we ready for FULL DISCLOSURE.
