The fact is, that there are many UFO cults prevalent in our society today. Here is a listing of some of those cults:
RAELIAN Cult: Founded by Clause Vorhilhon. (Rael)
THE SWEDENBORGIAN SOCIETY: Founded by Helene Smith, this cult reached its peak in the 1880s.
THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY: Founded in 1875 by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. (aka Madam Blavatsky)

THE CHURCH UNIVERSAL AND TRIUMPHANT: Headed by Elizabeth Claire Prophet, it enjoys wide popularity and a large following.

HEAVEN’S GATE: This cult is still active, although a great majority of its members committed mass suicide with a drug cocktail.
DIANETICS: L. Ron Hubbard has claimed to have received and channeled instructions for this popular best seller from an un-named source. What is not commonly known about this man, was that he was involved in satanic practices, including (but not limited to) practicing ritual magic, Masonic rites, Tantric sexual practices and hermetic mysticism.
Hubbard, the father of DIANETICS, enjoys a large following. He was an aqcuaintance of the late John 'Jack' Parsons, a self proclaimed "anti-christ, who followed in the footsteps of another self proclaimed "anti-Christ," Aleister Crowley." Parsons, is probably best known as cofounder of the Jet Propulsion Laboaratory.

There are notable similarities, which bind these cults together. These “disparate groups” are bound by “a single interpretation, which is opposed to a biblical interpretation of morality and reality.” The real danger is that there are numerous fringe groups lead by dillusional leaders who for there own selfish reasons exploit the weak and helpless in our society. The reality sense is that they are not in touch with UFO occupants at all, but may in fact be channels for persuasive, sardonic voices.
