World Rankings
While these rankings are in no way "official", I thought it might be neat to track gymnasts throughout their different competitions in 1999. Starting with the American Cup in April and continuing to the Chunichi Cup in December, I will be keeping a list of all major competitions in this point-based format. Here is the system

So as you can see, this list might get complicated! There are four different categories for competitions to fit in Minor International, Medium International, Major International, Grand Prix, and National. Here is a list of which categories different International competitions fit into.

These competitions (plus more dual meets to be announced later) will be totaled to make the winners of the "unofficial World Cup". For a gymnast to qualify of the "World Cup rankings final" (at the end of the year, I total the results), they must compete in at least 1 of these competitions.
