Joan and Rich's Corner

Due to popular demand (and nagging) I have decided to create this web page... I live in Washington State, I work at the Puyallup Fair in the floral barn once a year when the fair is on. I am also an avid book-reader, and ex-line dance teacher. I am the mom to froggie..who used to run the email prayer chain we started back in 1997!!

Thought for the day...If you live your life like there is no God, you better hope you are right!!!

Recently I remarried, (March 1, 2003),and this is me and my new husband and love of my life, Rich. He has made me happier than I have ever been in my entire life, and I thank God every day for him!!! When I found him (on line of all places!) he was not a Christian, but one month after we were married, on Easter Sunday, he accepted Jesus as his Savior and was baptized! He is a great man and has brought me a great family too. Check out the family pics link, as that page has grown and will continue to grow more and more...

Nyle passed away on March 16, 2001, of aspirated pnemonia, following open heart surgery that went terribly wrong, leaving him in a vegetative state for 2 weeks, he woke up for 2 days, but with brain damage, recognized everyone, then was moved to progressive care, went back into sleep mode, and 7 days later was running a temperature of 105 and died.

We had been married for 26 years, and have a daughter, Jackie,and a cat named MuffinGo to my newest page RIGHT HERE to read a story that might make you think twice about abortion.

Thanks to all who voted for my kitty during the week of Sept 6 - 10, 1999. We made 3rd place but it was a real tight race. I guess this is pretty good for a cat, as usually, only dogs do well.
