Los Diablos Espejos
Esta danza se cree que viene del africa. Se baila en mombos en el
interior de la costa Atlantica. Es una danza de carnaval pagana en
honor al diablo. En la danza los diablos espejos,existe una variante
en la cual los diablos llevan espejos que segun la supersticio sirven
para reflejar el mal de ojo. Tambien es un baile carnavalesco el
cual hace burla hacia el Rey del carnaval. es un baile que ha sido
rescatado e integrado nuevamente a los bailes carnavalescos.

Los Diablos espejos is a dance believed to have come from Africa.
It is dance in mompos, Colombia, which is located along the Atlantic
coast. it is a carnival dance that is pagan in its roots and is
performed in honor of the devil. In this dance, there is a variation
in which the demons carry mirrors that according to local superstitions,
are to reflect or to ward off the evil eye. This is also a carnival
dance that mocks the King of the festivities. los diablos espejos is
a dance that was rescued and re-integrted once again into the
carnival celebrations.
