"Ring-Ring." "Ring-Ring"
"Will someone PLEASE get the phone?" I yelled from the bathroom. I had just gotten out of the shower and it seemed like no one else was going to attempt to get the phone. So I went running into our room, I grabbed the phone "Hell?" I asked as I jumped onto my bed.
"Hello... Becky?" a familar foregin voice asked.
"Hee hee, Good guess Rual. It's me!" I replied a little shocked that he acutally called.
Why do you sound like you ... have no breathe?" he asked concerned.
"What? I have no- ohhh out of breathe! I jsut ran outta the shower to grab the phone." I said giggling.
"Oh, the shower.. I'm sorry... I... I... interrupted you." He said " but I was wondering if you had a date for the Winter Ball?"
"Hmmmm, let me think.." I paused, then giggled "No I don't. Why?"
"Well, would you like to escort me?" Rual said.
"I sure would." I said, finally I had gotten to him; my flirting had paid off.
" GReat! Well, I will let you go back to the shower, and I'll talk to you tomorrow monring in school!" He said.
"That sounds awesome. See ya then hun!" I said giggling.
"Bye." With that, Rual hung up the phone. "Oh my god!" I kinda shreiked.
What?" Jen asked walking into our roon. "Who was that?"
I just sat there stunned. "It was Rual! He just asked me to the Winter Ball!!!" I said excitedly.
" REally, that is great hun!" Jen said coming over to give me a hug.
" EEEEEE Has Ryan asked you yet?" I asked.
" Yep, He just drove me home from Izzabelle's and asked me as I was about to leave." Jen said.
"Ahhhhh!" We screamed together hugging each other.
" WHAT?" Whitney yelled running up the staris. Giggling we collapsed onto my bed and said at the same time " WE have DATES!"
"Wow you guys! you always have dates.. why are you so excited?" Whitney said.
"I'm going to the winter ball with Rual. Oh no!!!! I need a dress!!" I said suddenly. "We only have 3 weeks til the Ball. There is SOO much that needs to be done!"
" Ahh Goodnight." Whitney said slipping under the covers.
"Goodnite" Jen and I said in unison.

" Jen, is it TRUE?" Izzabelle asked.
" What?!?!" JEn said innocently looking at the new addition of YM.
"Is Becky going to the Winter ball with RUAL???" Izzabelle demanded.
"Well, I... yes. He called her last night." Jen said looking up from the Backstreet boys article to see Izzabelles face drop.
"I warned you, Jen to keep your sister away from him. ... She is NOT going to the Winter Ball with him. I am going to make sure of it." Izzabelle said and stormed off.

I walked up to our bedroom, only to hear a quiet sobbing. I opened the door quietly, to see Elise crying and hugging her big teddy bear.
"Elise? Hun, whats wrong?" I said walking over and putting my arm around her.
" What? Oh hi, nothing." She said quickly then ran to the bathroom.
"Wait!" I said running after her.
"GO AWAY!" She said and shut the door in my face.
"Elise, hunny, tell me whats wrong please?" I asked concernced as i tapped lightly on the door. There was no response so I quietly walked back to our room. I walked to Elise's bed to see if there was antthing there that would make her cry like this. The only thing I could find was a letter. "Do I look at it ? Maybe I shouldn't.......OhhhhhI can't resist." I opened the letter only to see a University of Virginia letterhead. "Well this can't be it..." I said, but I continued to unfold the letter... ' SORRY, BUT THERE'S NO ROOM FOR YOU...' was written across the top in bold letters. "WHAT?!?!" I gasped "But she said... oh my!" I suddenly realized what was going on, She has lied to us, she didn't really get in.....
"Elise?!?!?" I called out in a questioning tone.
"She left hun" Mom called walking by our room. "Why? Is there something wrong?" She peaked her head into our room.
"Nope I was ... just wondering mom. Don't worry. I said getting up.
"Becckkkyyyy..." Jen called from downstairs.
"Yes, hun?!?!?" I said walking down the stairs to meet my sister.
" DO you want to go shopping?" Jen asked.
"Yes! Lets get outta here!" I said walking down the stairs, to the closet. I grabbed my boots and my leather jacket. "So are you excited aout going to the ball with Ryan? I asked as we opened the door. Suddnely we became face-to face with Nicole.
Grumbling, Nicold pushed past us, "Hi Becky." she said, and slammed the door behind her.
"Wow, that was crazy" I said giving JEn a half hug.
"Yah, tell me about i.."She said glancing back at the door.
With that we walked down the front stephs to the car, and took off for the mall.
Well, I hope you guys are liking it.. I don't think it's quite as good as the first 2! but, it's all mine baby! hee hee, HAve fun guys! I can't wait to read the next chapter!
