~*Chapter 9*~

"Please be okay," Marcy said as she burst through the hospital doors. She noticed Samathas mother sitting quietly over in the corner hunch beside her husband. She was about to run over to them when she again noticed her protruding belly. "Do they know?," Marcy thought, they must know about Sam but do they need to know about me too? She reached into her back pack and pulled out her sweat shirt. As soon as it was tugged it over her head she ran up to SAm's parents. "Where is she? Can I see her?" She asked, so many thoughts running through her mind.

"Right through there Marc, thank you so much for coming," Marcy almost cried as she looked at someone who at one time was like a second mother. If only she knew what had happened between she two 'daughters'. Marcy sighed, took one last look at her and turn into her ex-best friends hospital room to find Mark crying by her side.

Seeing him like this made Marcy feel a twinge of jealousy, like HER baby was being cheated. "Mark? What are you doing here?" she asked, afraid of the answer.

"What do you mean what I'm I doing here? That's my baby inside her," He said looking angrly at me. 'What about your other child' she wanted to say. Instead she sniffed.

"I know, I'm sorry," for the first time she looked at the frail, pale figure that lay beside Mark. It looked so hopeless as I sat down cluching my belly. Mark noticed my gesture and whinced. "What have I done?" He cried out as he jumped over to Marcy and grabbed her into his arms.

"Nothing Mark, God this isn't your fault," Just as this happened Sam's eyes flung open, and pain shot through them as she absorbed the image infront of her. Silently her eyes closed and a final whine was heard through out the room.
