~*Chapter 24*~

"So... what are you doing?" I asked, surveying the whole room. It was pretty much a pig-sty, but most likely boy heaven.

"Well.... I'm trying to clean up," he said, motioning around.

"Oh," I said,

"Do you want some help?"

"Nah, I've got it, you can watch some TV."

"Okay." I walked over to the TV, trying not to step on any of the clothes strewn everywhere.

"Nice boxers," I commented, picking up a pair of green boxers and holding them up.

"Thanks, I thought I lost those, can I have them?" he asked.

"Nope," I replied, smiling slyly.

"Why not?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

"I want them as a souvenir," I said, laughing.

"Ha, ha, very funny. Now can I please have them?"

"Sure," I replied, walking over with the boxers.

"No wonder I'm not wearing any today," he said, throwing the prize into the suitcase, that was just barely filled with clothes.

"EEEEEWWWW!!" I yelled.

"Just kidding, it was a joke," he said, "Gotcha back."

"Not funny, that was just gross," I said, turning around, locating the remote control.

"Hmmm.." I said, channel surfing. I found MTV, and got comfortable in the chair.

"Oh, what's on?" he asked.

"Just Jennifer Lopez dancing around in "If You Had My Love," I commented.

"Oh...... I love to watch that girl dance," he commented. I looked at him with eyebrows raised and eyes wide.

"I mean.... well... in the video, but not.... as good as you," he said, trying to recover.

"Nice try Nick, but you've never seen me dance," I laughed.

"Oh, well probably as good as you," he said, laughing too.

"Are you finished yet?" I asked, after 10 minutes of watching him clean his messy hotel room.

"Almost," he said, deep in thought.

"What happened," I asked, knowing something was up.

"Well.. I can't find one of my white socks," he said, looking under the bed.

"Oh, you mean, these?" I asked, pushing the TV aside, and picking out a white sock.

"Yeah, how'd you know it was there?" he asked, as I tossed him the sock.

"Because while I was watching TV I saw it there, and decided I wanted to see you panic before letting you bite the bait," I said, kissing him, as I passed him.

"Oh.. you sly girl," he said, kissing my lips.

"HEY YOU GUYS, THE BUS IS WAITING!" We were startled by the screaming voice that I recognized as Alex.

"That's Alex?" I asked, trying to get reassured.

"Yeah," he mumbled, closing his suitcase.

"I never knew she could be so loud!" I exclaimed, grabbing mine, that I left carelessly by the door.

"Get used to it, she does it all the time," he said, opening the door.

"Oh," I said.

"Okay, now get this straight, I love you and all, but please go ahead of me," he said, pushing me ahead.

"Why?" I called behind me.

"Because once the fans see any of us, they go bizerk. Just follow my directions. Go ahead, and walk straight to the limo. Don't look back, don't look at the fans, just go straight to the limo, and keep your eyes ahead," he assured me.

"Okay, got it," I said, walking out of the opening elevator doors, toward the mobbed front doors.

"Go, now," Nick whispered. I held my suitcase with pride, and walked straight to the waiting limo. The fans waved their hands in front of me, some holding autograph books, some without, just hoping for the usual slap. I felt bad, walking right past them and totally ignoring them, but I didn't want to find out the consequences of not following Nick's directions. I opened the door, and tons of flashes went off. I quickly threw my bag in, and slipped in, before anyone else could notice what was inside. No one was inside, except me, and I waited anxiously for the rest of the guys to come out. First, I saw Nick come out, with two security guards surrounding him. One I recognized as Andre, but the other I didn't know. "Hey babe," Nick said, opening the door, and popping in.

"Hey," I said, watching all the fans go nuts.

"They all do that, don't worry," he said, admiring them.

"I have to say, they're very dedicated," I commented.

"Yup, that's what I think too, and that's a good thing," he replied.

"Definitely," I said, watching them more.
