~*Chapter 28*~

"Hey, hon, are you comfortable?" Nick asked looking at me.

"Yup, I'm fine, I just love looking out the window, especially as we leave New York," I commented, turning to look at him.

"Really? Is it as beautiful as the beach the other day?" Nick asked.

"Well... it's different scenery, if you like the city, then it's great. Also, it depends on whether it's a sunny day, and as you can tell it's a beautiful day today," I replied, resuming my look on the window.

"Is it as beautiful as you?" Nick whispered, picking up my chin and turning it to look at him.

"I don't know..." I said, shyly.

"I think you're prettier. Nothing can be as beautiful as you," he answered, kissing me softly.

"Thank you," I said, as I felt the airplane rumble as the engines started.

"Here, you sit here, I've seen the city when we take off plenty of times before. It's your turn," I said, getting up to switch seats with him.

"But this is your seat. Besides, you want to sit here more than me," Nick said, as I yanked him out of his seat.

"Are you chicken?" I teased.

"NO! I just want you to be comfortable," Nick said, sitting in my original seat.

"Once you see the city, we can switch back," I chimed in.

"If you insist," Nick mumbled.

"Of course I do!" I laughed. As the city shrunk beneath us, I heard Nick take a deep breath of air.

"I told you it was beautiful," I reminded him.

"Okay, you were right," Nick said, "it is beautiful."

"Only in New York," I said grinning.

"Have you ever been to France? It's also really beautiful taking off from Paris," Nick said.

"Sorry, I don't think I've ever been out of this time zone, let alone this country," I said.

"Even at 17?" Nick asked in disbelief.

"Yup, my family was never big on traveling," I said, shrugging.

"Oh, sorry to bring up the topic," Nick said, looking at his hands. This time, it was my turn to pick up his chin.

"Don't be, you didn't know. Besides, what was Paris like? I want to know. Maybe we can go together one day," I said.

"Well, then, why bother giving away any details. This sounds like something we could do together, and I don't want to blow it," Nick said, his lips brushing against mine, his tongue making my lips moist. I felt my eyes get heavier, as our lips pressed together. His tongue flicked on my lips, giving me the hint to open my mouth, and his tongue squeezed through the tiny gap. His tongue explored my mouth, as his mouth opened enough to allow my tongue access to his. The only place my tongue would fit, was in his, which was where it was forced to go. His teeth felt straight, and perfect, the way his smile always appeared. His mouth was warm, but it tasted like the chocolate that had been in his coffee. "Mmmm.." I heard him groan, as his tongue touched my teeth. His tongue felt soft, and I made sure that my teeth didn't move. I felt his hands move to my waist, and my hands were placed around his shoulders. His hands felt big, enough to make my body feel secure in his grip. I heard the ding go off, to signal you could take off your seatbelts, but we both ignored it. We were too intense in our kiss to notice what was going around. We almost didn't hear Brian, when he started talking to us. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and tried hard to ignore the voice of someone, as my tongue kept found it's way to the top of his mouth. "You guys should really watch out where you start making out. I mean, on an airplane?" I heard a voice whisper in my ear. Nick and I immediately pulled apart, as we looked up to the chuckling face of Brian. I felt my lips, making sure they were still intact, as Nick stood up. "Yeah, an airplane. Got a problem with that?"

"No way. But, Leigh and I enjoy keeping it just a LITTLE secretive," Brian said, obviously enjoying the fact that he'd caught us.

"Well, I guess you could say, we don't. So..." Nick's voice trailed off.

"Anyway, don't forget, once we get off this plane, we go straight to the revenue. So, if you want anything, take it now, or live without it until we get to the hotel at 10 tonight. Got it?" Brian reminded.

"Of course. Besides, where WOULD we put our stuff if we didn't take it now? Leave it on the plane?" Nick said, laughing at his corny joke. Brian just rolled his eyes, and walked back to his seat.

"Thanks," I said, as Nick sat back down.

"For what? Defending you? No problem, it doesn't take much to have him leave you alone," Nick smiled.

"Oh, by the way, hope you enjoyed your coffee. It definitely tasted good in your mouth," I said, teasing him.

"Yeah, it was good. But it was definitely different from you lip gloss. Now THAT was good," Nick teased back.

"Thanks, I liked it too, it's called Cherry Swirl. That's why I got it, because is tasted good," I laughed.

"And it looks nice on you too," Nick complimented.

"Thanks," I said blushing.

"Too bad you didn't buy some red blush, then it might hide the fact that you're blushing," Nick grinned.

"Oh yeah, sorry, I saw it, but it didn't really compliment my skin color," I played along.

"I didn't think so, you've got such beautiful skin," Nick said, as his hand brushed against my cheek.

"Thanks," I said, grinning, "see, no blushing!"

"Yup, and you look great," Nick pointed out.

"Thanks," I said, pulling out the pillow from under me and putting it behind my neck.

"Tired?" Nick asked, brushing away a stray piece of hair from my face.

"Yeah, do you mind if I, kinda, fall asleep?" I asked.

"No way, in fact, I might too. We stayed out late last night, and I couldn't fall asleep just thinking of you," Nick said.

"Oh, that's sweet," I whispered, looking at him.

"I am, aren't I?" Nick said playfully. I punched him playfully, and slowly closed my eyes. Before I knew it, I fell asleep. Nick gazed at her for a while, as she slept, and admired her natural beauty. How her eyelashes were long and perfect. How her lips were just the right size for his lips. How her hair was casually pulled back off her face, yet a couple strands stayed. Nick knew that this was the girl he loved, and before thinking twice, kissed her on the cheek. He heard her groan, and her head fell onto his shoulder. He didn't know what to do, so instead, he just left her on his shoulder. He didn't want to wake her up, so he just resumed the position of looking out the window, making sure not to hurt her during her sleep.
