Welcome to Kehillah Beth Miqlat, which is alternately called by the name, Congregation House of Refuge, a Messianic Israelite Congregation in Spokane, WaSHINgton.
Many people have grown up in Christianity, believing in the Messiah, Yeshua of Nazereth, but currently find themselves in conflict with the traditional teachings of their home churches. They ask questions of their pastors or priests, concerning YHWH's Laws of the Old Testament. They ask why their church tradition says its OK to break YHWH's Sabbath Commandment every week, reject YHWH's Lunar Calendar every month, keep pagan holidays instead of YHWH's Feast Days every year, and live in disobedience to YHWH's health laws, etc., all of which were designed to govern His set-apart people for their benefit. Many believers, both in the United States and around the world, are being "cast out" of their former assemblies, or walking away from them voluntarily, wandering aimlessly from group to group like sheep without a Shepherd. They learn by their personal study of the Scriptures from the Ruach haKodesh (the Set-apart Spirit) and from the teachings they receive via the internet, or purchasing spiritual classics from used book stores. To these faithful, struggling outcasts and for this purpose, we dedicate to the glory of YHWH and His Son, Yeshua haMashiah, Kehillah Beth Miqlat: a House of Refuge for victims of religious abuse.
Yochanan 8:31-32 And Yeshua said to those Yehudim which believed on Him, "If ye continue in my word, ye are my talmidim indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
YHWH is blessing those who walk according to all His commandments and seek to know His ways. He is well aware of the persecution many get for seeking truth and asking questions that conflict with those who teach for doctrine, the traditions of men. Regarding all false teachings and commandments of men and their errant traditions, we remind all institutions, of His words:
Mattityahu 24:1-2 And Yeshua went out, and departed from the Beit haMikdash (the Temple); His talmidim came to Him, for to show him the buildings of the temple. And Yeshua said unto them, "See ye not all these things? Awmein, I say unto you, there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down! "
