When first posted as such in 1964, SR 150 ran from Manson to Jct US 97 (now Alt US 97) in Chelan. In 1987, US 97 was moved to the east side of the Columbia River from the Wenatchee area to the Chelan area. Former US 97 on the west side of the Columbia was redesignated Alt US 97. SR 150 was extended along Alt US 97 from downtown to the east side of Chelan and then along former SR 151 from Jct Alt US 97 to Jct US 97 near Chelan Falls. Today, SR 150 is 11.76 miles long.
Before 1964, SR 150 from Manson to Chelan had been SSH 10C.
