SR 225 was added to the state highway system effective April 1, 1992. SR 225 begins at Jct SR 224 a few hundred feet north of I-82 Exit 96 and heads north across the Yakima River, thru Benton City, an continues north to Jct SR 240 at Horn Rapids. SR 225 is 11.32 miles long.
