SR 310 was added to the state highway system effective April 1, 1992. This route starts at Jct SR 3 in NW Bremerton and heads SE on Kitsap Way and Callow Ave (old SR 3) to Jct SR 304, where SR 310 ends. SR 310 is 1.84 miles long.
Before the SR 3 freeway was built bypassing Bremerton to the west in the early 1970s, the route that is now SR 310 had been part of SR 3.
