State Route 409

SR 409 begins at the Puget Island ferry terminal at the south end of Puget Island, heads north across the island, crosses the Julia Butler Hansen Bridge to Cathlamet, and ends at Jct SR 4 just outside of town. SR 409 is 3.84 miles long.

Before 1964, SR 409 had been SSH 12F.

The Puget Island toll ferry heads south across the main channel of the Columbia River to Westport, Oregon. A county road links the Westport ferry terminal with US 30. The ferry is owned by Wahkiakum County, Washington.
