Vincent Kartheiser's biography

Born and raised in Minneapolis and the youngest of six children, Kartheiser trained at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. He performed in several stage productions including A Christmas Carol when he was just 6 years old. Kartheiser received his membership in the Screen Actors Guild with a one-line role in the feature film Untamed Hearts starring Christian Slater and Marisa Tomei. Since then, Kartheiser has had leading roles in the Warner Bros. film Alaska opposite Thora Birch, the drama Another Day in Paradise opposite James Woods and Melanie Griffith, the independent film Mastermind, Luckytown Blues with Kirsten Dunst and James Caan and the thriller The Unsaid opposite Andy Garcia and Linda Cardellini. Kartheiser has also made guest-starring appearances on the television series Sweet Justice and ER. An avid reader and traveler, the young actor has visited all 50 states in addition to England, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. When not acting, Kartheiser enjoys being in the great outdoors.
