Kendra

Very little is known about Kendra. Her people are aware of vampires, as Kendra's parent’s knew that she was destined to become a Slayer and sent her to be trained by a Watcher, Sam Zabuto, at a very early age. Kendra’s training has been much more traditional than Buffy. Her life has been very cloistered, with no friends or family. Her one concession to whimsy was to name her favorite stake “Mr. Pointy.” Kendra became active as a Slayer after Buffy died fighting the Master. When Spike found the du Lac manuscript and the key to deciphering it, signaling that he would be trying to revive Drusilla, Zabuto sent Kendra to Sunnydale. After helping Buffy stop Spike and Drusilla, Kendra returned home. She later came back to Sunnydale when Angel stole the sarcophagus of Acathla, to provide Buffy with a sword that would aid in defeating the Demon. She was killed by Drusilla while trying to protect the slayerettes.
