Buffy's Love Connections

• Owen- Owen was one of the first normal guys that Buffy went out with when she first came to Sunnydale. However she had some competition in the face of Cordelia, but it was obvious that Owen was only interested in Buffy. However after a disastrous date on which Owen nearly got killed by a vampire, Buffy thought that Owen was going to call it off between them. But it turned out that he still wanted to go out with Buffy, but the only reason why was that because of the near death moments he could have. So Buffy broke it off, she didn't want to be in a relationship like that.
• Angel- Angel is about a 270-year-old vampire. He followed Buffy's tale to becoming the slayer. Buffy didn't know of his existence until she met him in Sunnydale. First he was just a handsome stranger who knew what went bump in the night, and gave Buffy some help. They grew closer together, with Buffy still not knowing that Angel was a vampire, when they first kissed his vampiric face came out. Buffy was devastated, but Angel told her what he was and about his past. They tried to live without one another but
• Scott Hope- After Angel died, Buffy thought it was about time she got her life back and began dating again. One guy who had always liked her was Scott Hope. Things were off to a rocky start, but none the less they started again. Their first date was at the Buster Keaton Film Festival. But when Angel surprisingly returned Buffy found herself distracted, and Scott suddenly broke it off with her for that very same reason.
• Parker- Met when Buffy started College, went out a couple times, slept together once, and the he turned into a bastard. She was in denial for a bit, until she saw him putting the moves on other girls. She beat him to a pulp in episode "beer bad", and that was the end of that.
• Riley Finn- Buffy first met Riley at UC Sunnydale. It wasn't the most fairytale of all meetings but it was obvious they both had an impact on each other. Soon Riley found out his feelings towards Buffy and attempted to ask her out. It didn't go as well as he planned, but eventually both of them got together. But Riley didn't know about Buffy's other life as the Slayer and Buffy didn't know about Riley's other life as a commando. When they found out about each other Buffy thought she couldn't handle it. Riley made her think more about it and made an effort to understand what she went through before. It worked out; they were a happy couple for a long time, fighting side by side. Until it was apparent that something was wrong. Buffy didn't realize it at first though. After Buffy got bit by Dracula, Riley was always wondering what kind of hold Dracula and Angel both had on Buffy. Riley found out for himself, and it cost him his relationship with Buffy. Buffy was devastated to here what Riley had been up to, she was ready to break it off with him. After a few wise words from Xander, Buffy realized what she could be missing. But it was too late and Riley was on his way to a secret government operation in South America.
• Ben- Ben was working at Sunnydale hospital while Joyce was ill. Buffy's repeated going’s in and out of the hospital soon created a friendship with one of the attendee's there, Ben. However Buffy did not know Ben's secret, that Glory shared his body. But things between them never really took off, and Ben was killed by Giles.
• Spike- This isn't a couple one thought would hit it off, but they did. It all started with Spike realizing he was in love with her. He started to hang around her and her friends. And later Buffy found out about this, at first from Dawn, who herself had a crush on him but with Buffy around she didn't stand a chance, and later from Spike himself. He even created a date, which Buffy wasn't too happy about. And then when Drusilla returned for him Spike chained her and Dru up and told Buffy that he loved her. She was disgusted and told him he couldn't love, he was a vampire without a soul, this Dru told Buffy was wrong and vampires could very much love someone. Spike offered to kill Dru for Buffy but she didn't care. But then in season six, Buffy fought with Spike a lot. And he suddenly realized he could fight back without getting a migraine. This shocked Buffy but in the end of that fight they made rough love. They continued to have sex and she tried to not love him, still, he loved her. She finally broke it off and told Spike she'd been using him and it wasn't fair to him. Spike couldn't stop loving her, but had to stay away for the both of them. One night he and Anya ended up sleeping together and by mistake the Scooby gang caught the show on cameras that the villains, Jonathan, Andrew and warren had put up. This hurt Buffy and made Xander want to kill Spike for him sleeping with Anya. That's when he found out about Buffy and Spike. He wasn't too happy about it. Then one night he paid a visit at the Summers home, and ended up almost raping Buffy. He left her there, on the bathroom floor. He left Sunnydale, determined to return to the old Spike, the vicious vampire he once was. Only he got his soul back instead.
• RJ- He was a student at Sunnydale High, wear Buffy works as a counselor. RJ had a coat which when he wore it in the presence of anyone female, they were immediately put under his spell and did anything he wanted, and tried their very best to get his attention inn anyway. While having a talk to RJ about girls and his actions recently, Buffy was under his spell, only until the jacket that he wore was destroyed.
• Robin Wood- He is the principal at the new Sunnydale High. He hired Buffy as a student counselor. He then asked her out on a date to a little restaurant. On their way there they got attacked by vampires and Buffy thought he set them up, but it turned out he wasn't very much liked by the vampire community. They had a nice romantic dinner, so far so good.
