Willow Rosenberg's Biography

Willow Rosenberg was born in 1981, in Sunnydale to Ira and Sheila Rosenberg. Willow has been friends with Xander since childhood and she quickly became best friends with Buffy when she came to town. Willow is extremely intelligent, a whiz on computers, and an excellent student who is known for her tutoring abilities. She has helped Buffy and Giles numerous times by hacking into various records and databases, and she even taught Jenny Calendar's computer class after Jenny was killed by Angelus. Willow long had feelings toward Xander, and after years of ignoring her, Xander finally seemed to return those feelings — while the two were both dating other people. When Oz and Cordelia found out about their indiscretion, they ended it, and Willow and Oz were able to save their relationship, unlike Xander and Cordelia. Willow will probably always have a soft spot for Xander. She lost her virginity to Oz, just before she graduated from high school. Willow had a hard time when Oz left Sunnydale, but is now enjoying her romantic relationship with fellow Wicca Tara, who in the end she picked over Oz. Willow has been turning into a powerful witch. She even hurt and immobilize Glory and to restore Tara's sanity. When Buffy died to save Dawn, and the world, Willow resurrected her. After this power surge, Willow started to increase her use of magic to the point where she started to use magic on her friends. Tara then decided that their relationship couldn't work if Willow continued using magic the way she was. Shortly after, Willow figured out how to turn Amy back into a human. Willow and Amy's mutually careless approach to magic then gets them into trouble. Willow was trying to live magic free. After month's of being just friends and getting over the awkward moments Willow asked Tara out for coffee, she said yes, and Tara rushed forwards as she'd been obviously missing Willow a lot. Things were good with them back together again, but tragedy struck. Tara got shot, and died instantly, and Willow went seeking revenge. She gets back into the black arts, sucks all the magic books dry and becomes one of the most powerful witches ever. She killed Warren, but Willow now also wants to kill the friends of Warren, Jonathan and Andrew, because all together they were the "trio", the villains. Buffy wants to stop Willow, she fights against "dark Willow" and can protect the two guys. So Willow needs more power. She gets it from a local magician, she killed him and took his power. Only one person could stop her now, Giles. He got some power from the witch covern, but Willow tricked him and also got his power. Now Willow is the most powerful witch ever and the only thing she wants is to destroy the world, so that all the pain will end. No magic source like the Slayer can stop her, so Xander tried to speak to her, and he succeeded. Willow remembered her former self and all the pain broke out, she falls into Xander’s arms, and the world was not destroyed. Willow went to England for the summer with Giles, who, along with a coven of witches, trained her so that she could control and use properly the magic within her. After recovering from her past events and learning to control the magic she returned to Sunnydale. At first she was scared to use her magic, for fear that she would succumb to the dark side of it. But in time her confidence grew as did her power. She also had to get to grips with Tara's death and eventually she managed to get over her and find a new girlfriend, Kennedy. Kennedy was a potential slayer. Willow was unsure of the relationship but in the end they pulled through. In the final battle to save the world against a massive army of Turok-Hans, Willow had an important part. She used the essence of a weapon, endowed with slayer strength, to give that power to all potential slayers in the world. Doing this proved that Willow is one of the most powerful human beings/witches of her time.
