Alyson Milano
Alyssa Jayne Milano was born to parents Tom and Lin in New York on December 19, 1972. She has a younger brother named Cory. Everyone remembers Alyssa as Tony Danza's adorable daughter Samantha on the popular sitcom "Who's The Boss", but since then she's gone through many image changes in her films and tv appearances. After "Who's the Boss?", Alyssa had a brief stint as a pop star in the early 90's, releasing several teen pop style albums that were quite popular in Japan and Europe. In fact, for a while many people in those countries thought of her as a singer first, and an actress second. Alyssa's first real role in a feature film was as Arnold Schwarzeneggar's daughter in "Commando", after which, she stuck with tv and "Who's the Boss" mostly until the early 90's when she returned to the screen for the action adventure "Double Dragon". She then switched gears and turned into a screen seductress with her roles in the erotic thrillers "Poison Ivy 2 - Lily" and "Embrace of the Vampire", that was followed by roles in higher profile films like "Fear" in which she co-starred with Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon, the comedy/drama "Glory Days" with Ben Affleck, the action thriller "Body Count" with Ice-T, and the charming offbeat comedy "Hugo Pool" with Malcolm McDowell, Sean Penn & Patrick Dempsey. Alyssa fans had high hopes for her finally being in a big hit theatrical release when it was announced that she was going to be in the romantic comedy "Buying The Cow" in 2000, however her part turned out to be small, and the film was apparently so bad that it never was released theatrically, going straight to cable instead. On the tv front though Alyssa's never had a slow spot, she played Amy Fisher in one of the three! made-for-tv movies based on her in "Casualties of Love, the Long Island Lolita Story" and in 1995 she co-starred with Connie Selecca in "The Surrogate" and appeared in an episode of the tv sci-fi series "The Outer Limits" in which she played a young woman who comes into contact with an alien lifeform which turns her into a raging sex maniac. The episode was filmed in two versions, one for Cable tv with nudity and a tamer version for regular tv without the nudity. That episode with Alyssa reportedly had the highest ratings of any episode in the shows history. In 1997 Alyssa starred in the Disney film "Gold Rush" and made her return to a full time tv series by joining the cast of "Melrose Place", starring as Jennifer Mancini, the younger sister of Michael Mancini. She was with the show for 2 seasons before leaving in September 1998 to join the cast of a new Aaron Spelling produced show, "Charmed" which originally co-starred Holly Marie Combs, ex-of Picket Fences, and Shannen Doherty ex-Beverly Hills 90210, Shannen however was replaced by Rose McGowan for the fourth season of the show, which is one of the highest rated programs on the WB network.
