Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies (1999)

During a bungled museum robbery Morgana and her boyfriend Eric accidentally shatter the statue of the Ahura Mazda, and steal the fire opal that’s sealed within. They release the Djinn, who after despatching Eric allows himself to be thrown in jail for the robbery, the perfect place for the man who can grant wishes in exchange for one’s soul.
