Freddy Krueger has a problem. He can't get out of hell. So what does he do? Awaken the only force that can bring him out, Jason Voorhees. Of course Freddy disguises himself as Mrs. Voorhees to get Jason to do his killing. Freddy needs the teens in Springwood to fear him. Only Freddy's plan gets totally messed up when people realize it isn't Freddy but Jason on the killing spree. Guess what, Freddy isn't too happy about that. Meanwhile enter the teens who are in the middle of their feud. Eventually they decide that perhaps Jason can be on their side, and devise a plan to bring Jason back to Camp Crystal Lake - no longer a campground, and hopefully bring Freddy out of the Dream world. They hope that Jason will kill Freddy, and Jason will just be happy that he's back at Crystal Lake and leave the kids alone so they can go back home. Only their plan doesn't quite work out as they hoped it would.
