Some Scientific Definitions of Measurements

Since the inch, the foot, and the yard are now defined in terms of the meter, the inch, foot, and yard are logically defined the same way as the meter, thus:

1 international inch = The distance traveled by light in a vacuum during 127/1 498 962 290 000 of a second.

1 international foot = The distance traveled by light in a vacuum during 381/374 740 572 500 of a second.

1 international yard = The distance traveled by light in a vacuum during 1 143/374 740 572 500 of a second.

1 meter = The distance traveled by light in a vacuum during 1/299 792 458 of a second.
