Well, it's ANOTHER new holiday! It's a good thing I'm into the holiday spirit, because it seems as though there's no end to them!

This one is St. Patrick's Day.

I'm not green, and I'm not sure if I have any Irish ancestry or not, but maybe there was an Irish Wolfhound that ran through one of my ancestor's backyards sometime in the past, so I'm good to go on celebrating!

Mom told me that she is half Celtic. I don't think it's anything to do with that sports team though, because she has a hard enough time playing a decent game of Frisbee.

Anyway, I'm going to show you a couple of Irish "toasts"... not the kind you make out of bread, but the ones you say when you're wishing someone well...

These things I warmly wish for you-
Someone to love,
Some work to do,
A bit O' sun,
A bit O' cheer,
and a guardian angel always near.

This next one is a nice one for people, as well as for we canine sorts....

May you have warm words
on a cold evening,
a full moon on a dark night,
and the road downhill
all the way to your door.

And with that, I'll personally wish you the very best wishes for your St. Patrick's Day!

I'll bet Kermit the Frog has a great St. Patrick's Day, being all green like he is!
