My discovery has been there all along, but just this week, I discovered it.
It's a handy thing, and I was so pleased with myself that I wagged my tail and got a BIG smile on my face when I discoverd it, feeling like I had outsmarted Ponce de Leon in the search for the Fountain of Youth. Because...(and you might not believe this, but..) the thing was filled with a never ending supply of WATER!!
At first, I just watched how it worked.....
THEN, I realized that I could actually make use of this thing.
It was not only fun to watch as it swirled and made noises, but after it got all done, it got really quiet and just sat there...
BEGGING me to enjoy this newly found treasure...
Well, I did... and I got yelled at!!
It would seem to this little puppy mind that there should be nothing wrong with having a drink of water when I'm thirsty, Should there???
Mom and dad didn't quite see it that way, and when I tried to tell them, they wouldn't listen..
Sure, I have plenty of water in my water dish, but THIS water was so nice and cold,
and there was so MUCH of it!!
It seemed like it was just the right size for a growing pup too!
And since I have to eat and drink from stainless steel dishes, it would have been a real treat to
drink from a porcelain dish.
Mom says it's a BAD thing that I discovered it, but alot of GOOD has come from it she thinks.
Dad now keeps the lid down on my porcelain water dish.
