Eurofest - An
Anniversary Celebration of European Culture. Dear friends, most of
the people of our church have ethnic roots either in Europe or in Africa. Our
Council decided that one way we could celebrate our wonderful diversity here
would be to have a couple of international dinners heralding the foods and
cultural heritage of our members. Our members whose families come from the Horn
of Africa decided that they would like to close out our 75th anniversary
celebration next February with an Ethiopian-Eritean dinner. In two weeks, we'll
celebrate the European side of our heritage with a dinner of foods from Europe,
along with cultural displays and activities. Join us as we celebrate our
muiltcultural unity and share in one another's heritage. There will be a free
offering taken for the benefit of our parish ministries. The dinner will be
"pot luck"-buffet style. People who have an ethnic dish they want to bring are
invited to do so.
