Character Bios

    Well, finally the party is taking shape.  They may not be together yet but there is something there.  Krazzin, the minotaur, has already left his mentor, Halford, and is on his way to Hommlet.  Odds Bodskins, the Breach Gnome has finished recovering from his ordeal and is ready to leave the rock gnomes that have taken care of him.  The brothers, Nailith and Nandel have finally begun the journey that they have prepared for all their lives.  And finally, a ship has left from the Isle of Evermeet carrying Edinos the Bladesinger and a Sh'oagmel, a priestess of Corelon.  No one knows each other yet except for Nailith and Nandel.  Each have their own reasons and their own agendas.  There are still hints of other adventurers that may join this group. The rumors are of a Paladin, a Thief, another Mage, and a Kensai.  We will have to wait and see if these rumors are true. For more of a description of the cast of characters, please click here.

    We begin with Krazzin, his journey may be the longest for this orphaned minotaur is carrying everything he owns.  Fearful of societies reaction to the sight of him, he has chosen a cross-country route.  It will take him many days of hard walking to get to the little village of Hommlet where his mentor suggested he go.  So far, so good. The hunting has been good and he has made good time. But now, the hard part of the journey approaches. He must cross the small mountain range and then it is all downhill from there...

    Odds Bodkins has finally recovered with his ordeal under the care of some friendly rock gnomes.  He feels ready to adventure once again.  The rock gnomes did more than heal the poor little Svirfneblin, they also taught him about the world above and some of the wonders it contains.   The sun still hurts his eyes when it is a cloudless sky and he longs for the comfort of rock surrounding him, but the world above calls to him and he can't help but explore at least some of it before he goes back into the Underdark.  Maybe he can hook up with a party that is in need of a steady sword or in need of his "specialties" that came from a life underground.  So not really knowing where he is going or what he will run into, he starts out...

    Nailith and Nandel, half-elf brothers,  having rejoined after their training, begin to concentrate how to accomplish the goals that they had set together many years ago.  They realize that they are still neophytes so careful planning and careful judgment must be used.  Maybe they can find what they are looking for at the ruins of a temple in a nearby land that they heard about in their youth...

    Edinos and Sh'oagmel have different reasons for leaving Evermeet but they are leaving together as their mentors and elders wished. They are supposed to help each other out and keep each other alive since they are young and promising members of a dying race.  They say their goodbyes and leave.  Edinos' task of searching out lost Elven cultures and promoting the Elven way is beginning.  Sh'oagmel just wants to go out and confront evil in the name of Corellon. They should be a perfect match for each other, but how they are going to accept each other remains to be seen...
