You must follow all of the following rules/terms. Any neglection to these rules may result in suspension or expulsion from the Era of Darkness Harry Potter RPG Group:
-Disrespect, cockiness, egos, idiotic attitudes, or any negative type of attitude will not be tolerated, especially towards leaders (owners, etc.). If leaders are being leaders, don't try to be a leader back.
-The only three people who can start official Era RPs are Mystithur, Guard, and Bella. The regular OOC chatroom ("Arts and Entertainment - Harry Potter EoD") of the EoD can be started by anyone. However, if Mystithur, Guard, or Bella enters the room, everyone must leave so one of them can seize ownership of the chat.
-Please do not have an excessive amount of "OOC talk."
-We ask that if for some reason you are fired from, or quit EoD, that you do not do take any actions against us after you are no longer a member. It is completely disrespectful, and will not be tolerated.
-You may only have one character in the EoD.
-Do not copy other characters or take any main aspects from them that they are known for in any way, shape, or form for your own character. Be original. Even if you passed the Acid test, it doesn't mean we still don't have our eye on you.
-Do not mode, especially do not become all-powerful-god-like.
-You do not have to, but we prefer that you log all EoD RPs. It would be helpful to yourself, as well as other members in the future.
-If you cannot make up your mind on things in a reasonable amount of time, don't bother joining.
-You must have access to both AOL Member and Private chatrooms.
-You must keep active.
-You must look to the website for various information, also because it is a good way to keep updated with the EoD.
-Be honest. Do not lie. If you do, more than likely you will be caught and dealt with.
-Mass E-mailing questions and/or comments to the whole EoD will not be tolerated. If you have something to ask or say, e-mail the leaders ONLY, NOT the whole EoD.
-One thing that absolutely will NOT be tolerated is excuses to not RP. These include things like "I have nothing to do with this SL," "I'll just stay OOC and watch," etc. If you are not needed in any SL, then you will surely be notified. This portion of The Era is an RPG. You join it TO roleplay.
-Read all EoD e-mails sent by any leaders. Do not read anything sent to the whole EoD by another member. It will only be considered junk mail.
-Joining the EoD for lack of anything better to do? Do NOT bother joining, please. The EoD only wants dedicated members.
-Please keep all major OOC conversations to IM.
-Take the RP seriously. Clowning around too much in this RP is totally stupid.
-Entering a chat, then leaving without saying why is absurd.
-Don't whine, moan, or complain about anything.
-No one can die unless agreed with by a leader. All leaders must understand the death of a specific character.
-Have fun!
-Lastly, Rules can be changed or added. So keep updated with them.
