Rantz FAQ

FAQ For Submitting Rants

Yeah Yeah Yeah. Well, there always has to be SOME order to chaos, hence this FAQ section. These are some guidelines for submitting a rant to my site. If you choose to, I advise reading this. Please also note that this FAQ is subject to change at any time.

What kind of rant do I submit to this site?

  • You can write a rant about pretty much any aspect of society of life in general that you find particularly pain-inducing. I will NOT post rants that are directed towards a certain person EVEN IF YOU CHANGE THE NAME (i.e. "my girlfriend Annie Smith broke up with me and she is a nasty slut"). So if you are looking to ruin a person's integrity, do it elsewhere, or write about it in a journal because no one wants to hear your fucking personal dirty laundry.

What kinds of things are appropriate?

  • Well, this is pretty much stated in the above question. I'm pretty lenient. I am not going to censor language or personal biases (it wouldn't be a good rant without them). What is not appropriate is using this site to bash another person, or making death threats (or any threats to another person in general).

How long does the rant have to be?

  • It doesn't have to be very long, but i do expect at least a paragraph (about 10 sentences or so). Just nothing extreme (like 20 pages or something).

Can I send a rant that is similar to one that has already been sent?

  • Well, you can send it, but I may not post it. It depends on the similarity to that rant and any previous rants. I highly advise looking at the rants that are posted as references. There is nothing wrong with using someone else's rant to bounce your ideas off of. :)

How do I send you a rant?

  • Well, you can send it to me through email, laura_sama2001@yahoo.com as a .doc or .txt file. You can even just write the thing in the email, i don't care. Nothing wacko, like .zip files please. I highly suggest sending me an email or an IM (AIM: NeuroticaX18; Yahoo: laura_sama2001) informing me of the rant you want to write before writing it.
