Lesson 13: Chinese Fireball
The Chinese Fireball, sometimes known as the Liondragon, is the only Oriental dragon. Scarlet and smooth-scaled, it has a fringe of golden spikes around its snub-snouted face and extremely protuberant eyes. When angered, a mushroom-shaped flame bursts from its nostrils, thus giving this creature its name. The female is larger than the male, but both genders weigh
between two and four tons. It lays eggs of a vivid crimson speckled with gold, and the shells are much prized for use in Chinese wizardry. Though it is agressive, it will share its territory with up to two others; they show much more tolerance to their own species than most dragons. It prefers pigs and humans, but will generally feast on most mammals.
Homework: Worth 50 points

2. What are found around its face?
3. How does it get its name?
4. What do the eggs look like?
5. What does it eat?
