July 19th, 2002 it was a day that I would not forget, no I didn’t wrestle, it was nothing that good. I very close friend of mine was seriously injured on that day. I’ve known the family for close to 16 years now, and it hurt me to hear the news that I heard that day. My friend was babysitting that morning and decided to light some candles. However, one was not a candle, but a half stick of dynamite. She was able to save the lives of the two children she was babysitting for, but during that time the explosive detonated in her hand, which caused major injury to her hand. She is still at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. Since then I have tried to continue on with everyday life, but it is very hard. She is only 14 years old and now she is scared for life. It makes me wonder why in the hell do people, with kids of their own, have something that dangerous in their house? Since it has been less then 2 weeks since the accident I really can’t say much about it, due to the fact all the information is not out yet, because I know what I see, and yes, I went to Metro Health Medical Center to see her on Tuesday and Friday, and it hurt me to see such a young girl in that condition. But I must say when I saw her Friday; she looked better and was in very high sprits. I have decided that August will be her month, I know it sounds corny, but every single match I have this coming month will be for her and in her name. So to end this statement all I have to say is, I love you Dawn, and I’m always there for you.Next I have some more sad news, we have to say good-bye to two more men that had impact in Pro-Wrestling. One being Alex Rizzo, A.K.A. Big Dick Dudley and the other is former WCW Ref, Randy Anderson. Rest in Peace my brothers in wrestling.
