May 23 1999 – WWF Superstar Owen Hart, 33, dies of cardiac arrest after plummeting more than 50 feet to the ring during the WWF’s Over the Edge Pay-Per-View in Kansas City, MO. Also known as “The King of Harts”, “The Blackheart”, and “The Rocket”.
